In 1987, the founders of ICP— John L. Bisswurm, Mike Bisswurm, and Matt Graf saw the need for a new precast concrete resource for customers around the Midwest. John Bisswurm Sr. decided to join the firm shortly after it was established and offered valuable mentorship to help develop the ICP team into a leader in the precast industry.

With hard work and dedication, production operations started in a small building owned by John Sr. and their grandfather, located in Mequon, WI. Using a one-third-yard barrel mixer, they began producing concrete roof pavers and masonry units.  Their extensive knowledge of precast fabrication techniques, their commitment to quality, and their desire to become the experts in the industry laid the groundwork for growing International Concrete Products, Inc. into the company it is today.

Over 35 years later, ICP is an award-winning, multi-million dollar Architectural precast manufacturer whose work spans the country. Our success is largely attributed to our relationship-driven business model, as well as our hands-on problem-solving approach.
