APA Certification

Obtaining and maintaining APA Certification is no small feat – ICP must undergo two unannounced inspections per year which begin when the work day starts –3:00AM—through the entire day of production—7:00PM. The inspection will cover well over one hundred check points. Each check point is graded as pass/fail with no partial credit given. Failure to pass certain mandatory items will result in an immediate withdrawal of ICP’s certificate of certification.

The APA also requires ICP to hold Level I and II Quality Control Personnel designations which cover precast and architectural precast products.

In addition, the APA Plant Certification Program is the only inspection program that requires our employees who mixes the concrete to pass a rigorous competency examination to achieve the designation of Certified Central Mix Batch Plant Operator.
