No Room for Error: How PCI AA Certification Sets Us Apart

When it comes to architectural precast, precision is not just preferred, it is essential. Every piece must match the design intent, align accurately on site, and deliver long term durability.

At International Concrete Products, we go beyond standard expectations. As a PCI AA Certified producer, we are qualified to manufacture the most complex precast components in the industry. This certification reflects our commitment to tight tolerances, consistent quality, and high performance results.

What Is PCI AA Certification?
PCI (Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute) offers various levels of certification. The AA category is the most demanding, reserved for producers who consistently meet the strictest requirements in the industry, especially for complex shapes, tight dimensional control, and high-quality aesthetic finishes.

ICP’s AA certification means:

  • Every piece is inspected and verified at multiple stages.

  • We maintain the highest level of precision in casting, forming, and finishing.

  • Our production process is routinely audited by PCI to ensure ongoing compliance.

  • We can confidently take on high-end architectural projects with intricate detailing.

Why Tolerances Matter

  • Alignment: Poor tolerances can create gaps, uneven joints, or misaligned finishes.

  • Speed: Accurate components install faster, saving time and rework.

  • Aesthetics: On high visibility facades, even the smallest inconsistency can stand out.

  • Longevity: Precision builds mean stronger performance over time.

The Bottom Line:
If you want flawless execution on a complex facade, you need a partner who delivers precision in every piece. That is where ICP stands apart. Let's build on your vision together.

As a division of Mid-States Concrete Industries, International Concrete Products has fully embraced the company’s World-Changing Behaviors.

Those World-Changing Behaviors include: safety before all else; YES! attitude; be candid; put yourself in someone else’s shoes; practice the four referrability habits, which are show up on time, do what you say you are going to do, finish what you start, and say please and thank you; and be a little weird!

While we practice all of these World-Changing Behaviors, we are really working to embrace the “be a little weird!” part. We are excited to share a spin on the typical Lunch and Learn - a Roundtable. A typical Lunch and Learn program is a presentation with a catered lunch that takes place at a workplace during lunch. In the digital age, Lunch and Learns are also often offered online as webinars.

While we offer the typical Lunch and Learn, we think a Roundtable can benefit our customer even more. Rather than a PowerPoint presentation where we stand at the head of the room with slides full of information behind us and talk at you while you try to quietly eat Jimmy Chips (good luck, by the way), we’d much rather have a Roundtable where we can talk with you.

Much like a typical Lunch and Learn, Roundtables can be scheduled for 60-90 minutes, depending on the needs of your team. Prior to scheduling a Roundtable, a member of our team will have a call with the organizer to discuss the objectives of the Roundtable, including topics, attendees, and experience working with precast. From that discussion, we’ll tailor our presentation materials and discussion to your needs.

Presenters will depend on the topics your team desires to discuss. From preconstruction through construction, we’ve got the experts. Our goal is to give you the information you need to make the best decision for your upcoming projects. When you partner with International Concrete Products for your precast project, we work side-by-side with you through design, manufacturing and construction. We want to help build on your vision. It’s what we’ve done for more than 35 years on projects all across the country.

If you are interested in having International Concrete Products host a Roundtable with your team, please contact us at info@internationalconcrete.com. We’d love to get a date on the calendar.
