Blackhawks Ice Center Presented by Fifth Third Bank

The expansion of the Blackhawks Ice Center, formerly known as the Fifth Third Arena, was completed in early 2026. Featuring more than 250,000 total square feet of community hockey space, state-of-the-art training facilities, and versatile areas for athletes, the center will welcome an estimated million and a half guests each year.
The exterior of the facility was constructed with architectural precast panels. Panels had multiple finishes, including thin brick in some areas, and a custom “wavy” form liner with hockey puck-shaped details.
